Volunteering
Volunteers were the first trailblazers to bring the hospice movement to our country. By providing neighbor-to-neighbor care, they created and staffed the first hospice programs.

Today, almost every American has access to hospice care, and millions of volunteers still give their time to assist those facing a terminal illness. They are the heroes of hospice.

Volunteers play a vital role in meeting the needs of our patients and their families. They serve as companions for our patients and assist families in the day-to-day care of their loved ones. Volunteers also work on our bereavement team and help in our office. For more information, see the page "How to Help."

If you would like to learn more about becoming an AutumnBridge Hospice volunteer, call our office at 405.440.2440 and schedule a time to meet with our volunteer coordinator. Training programs are offered to meet your individual needs
